Juice Cleanse Guidelines

Juice Cleanse is a short-term, nutrient-dense reset where you consume only fresh, cold-pressed juices (and lots of water) for a set period of time.

Pre-Cleanse

Pre-cleanse routine is important to ensure your body is prepared for the detox process. It helps you maximize the benefits of the cleanse and reduce any discomfort.

Cleanse Guidelines

Consume at least 48-96 oz of juice throughout the day.  Consisting of six 12-16 oz per day consuming every two hours.  Here’s a juice cleanse guidance to follow

Post-Cleanse

Post-cleanse phase is all about gently reintroducing solid foods and maintaining the clean, energized feeling you gained during your cleanse

Pre-Cleanse

1. Eat Light and Clean

  • Prior to the cleanse, eat lighter meals: Start eating lighter, plant-based meals a few days before your cleanse. Focus on fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds to reduce the workload on your digestive system.

  • Avoid heavy or processed foods: Minimize processed foods, sugar, refined carbs, and heavy proteins. These foods can make the transition to a juice cleanse harder on your body.

2. Hydrate Well

  • Drink plenty of water: Start increasing your water intake a few days before your cleanse to ensure your body is well-hydrated. Aim for at least 8-10 cups per day.

  • Include herbal teas: Consider drinking herbal teas like ginger, or peppermint, which can help with digestion and detoxification

3. Reduce Caffeine and Alcohol

  • Cut back on caffeine: If you consume a lot of caffeine, try to gradually reduce your intake in the days leading up to the cleanse. This can prevent headaches and irritability during the cleanse.

  • Limit or avoid alcohol: Alcohol can be dehydrating and taxing on your liver, which can interfere with the detox process.

4. Do Light Physical Activity

  • Exercise gently: Engage in light exercise such as walking, yoga, or stretching. This helps with circulation and digestion while keeping your body in good shape before the cleanse.

  • Avoid intense workouts: It's best to avoid strenuous exercise before and during the cleanse since your body may be in a more delicate state during detox.

5. Prepare Mentally

  • Mental preparation can help you stay motivated and positive.

  • Plan your meals: If you’re doing a juice cleanse for a certain period (like 3-7 days), plan how you’ll manage your days and what times you’ll consume your juices

Cleanse Guidelines

Start clean eating: Focus on fruits, vegetables, and whole foods.

Cut out caffeine, alcohol, dairy, sugar, and processed foods.

Hydrate: At least 8-10 glasses of water a day.

Eat smaller portions: This helps prep your digestion for the cleanse.

1. Stick to a Juice Schedule

  • Drink a juice every 2–3 hours (5-6 per day).

  • Keep consistent timing to maintain energy levels.

2. Stay Hydrated

  • Drink plenty of water between juices.

  • Herbal teas are great too (no caffeine).

3. Listen to Your Body

  • It’s normal to feel a little sluggish, especially Day 1–2.

  • If you're dizzy or weak, drink more water or have a small piece of fruit or broth.

4. Light Movement Only

  • Gentle yoga, stretching, or walks are best.

  • Avoid intense workouts—your body is using energy to detox.

5. Rest & Relax

  • Get good sleep.

  • Take naps if needed.

  • Your body is working hard behind the scenes.

6. Avoid Temptation

• Stay busy to avoid emotional snacking triggers.
